The Francisca Keller library belongs to Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS), Museu Nacional, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). The PPGAS was created in 1968 and it is the first postgraduate course in social anthropology of Brazil.
Regarded as one of the most important libraries on social sciences of Brazil, it holds an invaluable collection of anthropological books, around 37,000 volumes, including reference works, books, journals, theses, dissertations, congress annals, booklets and other specialized materials.
